RV 5.15.1

प्र वेधसे कवये वेद्याय गिरं भरे यशसे पूर्व्याय । घृतप्रसत्तो असुरः सुशेवो रायो धर्ता धरुणो वस्वो अग्निः ॥१॥
Meaning
In “प्र वेधसे कवये वेद्याय गिरं भरे यशसे पूर्व्याय”, the seeker prays to Agni to receive the hymn and make sacred speech effective. Agni is understood here as the bridge between the seeker and the devas.
