आ यज्ञैर्देव मर्त्य इत्था तव्यांसमूतये । अग्निं कृते स्वध्वरे पूरुरीळीतावसे ॥१॥
Meaning
With “आ यज्ञैर्देव मर्त्य इत्था तव्यांसमूतये”, the seeker prays to Agni to order the yajna, the offering, and the connection with the devas. Agni is understood here as the bridge between the seeker and the devas.
