यह छोटा अग्नि सूक्त दाश्वान की वाणी, अरि का भाव और दिव्य तेज को जोड़ता है। साधक अग्नि को पुकारते हुए समझता है कि यज्ञ की सच्ची संपदा केवल बाहरी वस्तु नहीं, बल्कि प्रकाशमान बुद्धि और उच्च प्रेरणा भी है।

पुरु त्वा दाश्वान्वोचेऽरिरग्ने तव स्विदा । तोदस्येव शरण आ महस्य ॥१॥

Meaning

In “पुरु त्वा दाश्वान्वोचेऽरिरग्ने तव स्विदा”, the seeker prays to Agni to awaken balanced strength and auspicious inspiration in the seeker’s life. The prayer points to inner awakening as well as outer ritual action.
