This page records the current corpus identity, source limitations, reuse status, and editorial gates used by Sanatan Adhyayan.
Corpus Identity and Current Status
The current reading library is identified as the Rigveda Shakala Samhita. It contains 10 Mandala records, 1028 Sukta records, and 10552 imported mantra records. These project totals do not by themselves certify a critical edition.
Sanskrit text is attributed to the page-level Sanskrit Wikisource revision recorded on each Sukta. A selected printed or critical edition has not yet been approved and recorded, so all Sukta and Mandala reading routes remain noindex,follow. Imported metadata and legacy study prose are not treated as reviewed scholarship.

Publication Rules
Source import, publication, and search indexing are separate states. Imported Sanskrit can remain available as a reading record, but an incomplete page uses noindex,follow and does not enter the sitemap.
A translation can be displayed only when an explicit editorial profile enables it. Search indexing additionally requires a named reviewer, review date, and an editorially approved or later publication state. Metadata constrains review; it is not used to generate a translation in place of Sanskrit grammar.
Required Provenance Record
Every approved unit must preserve source title, corpus or edition, stable revision URL, retrieval date, exact licence, changes made, text checksum, reviewer, review date, and version. Existing records that lack these fields remain under review rather than being silently described as verified.
Current Text Limitations
The displayed imported text is an unaccented reading layer. It is not currently a complete accent-preserving Samhitapatha, Padapatha, or critical apparatus. IAST, word-by-word glosses, translations, and interpretive notes are separate editorial layers and must state their own review status.
Correction and Removal
