Hindi Bhavarth

RV 10.161.1

Mantra 1

Meaning

Read in context, through “मुञ्चामि त्वा हविषा जीवनाय कमज्ञातयक्ष्मादुत राजयक्ष्मात्”, the seeker prays to Indra to hear the seeker’s call and come near. Agni is understood here as the bridge between the seeker and the devas.

Study Note

In RV 10.161.1, sacred speech, offering, and the movement between offering and divine response stay together. This keeps the reading grounded in the verse and in the praise of

Hindi Meaning

Simple Explanation
